I've always had a knack for creating things. What started as a simple hobby—crafting gifts for friends and family—soon blossomed into something much more meaningful. During the challenges of COVID, when many small businesses struggled to survive, I felt a strong desire to make a difference. That's when 608 Crate was born. My goal was to collaborate with small businesses, helping them thrive during such a difficult time by curating thoughtful, handcrafted items that brought joy to those who received them. 

With 608 Crate, I focused on creating customized gift crates that combined handmade items with products from local Wisconsin vendors and artisans. Each crate was a unique blend of local talent, designed to reflect the personality of the giver and bring happiness to the receiver. Whether it was a crate filled with gourmet treats for the foodie in your life or a selection of handmade soaps and candles or a nice bottle of wine, I ensured every gift was special and supported the community. Every crate had customizable options.

But as my vision evolved and the world began to change back to "normal," I knew it was time to reinvent my dream. I wanted to share more of my own creations with the world, and that's when Beau's Crates & Crafts was born. The name, inspired by my trusted Labradoodle, Lam"Beau," who's always by my side during crafting sessions, inspired me to take my business to the next level. 

Today, my business has expanded beyond curated crates to include my customized crafts while maintaining my dedication to supporting local Wisconsin artisans. From beautifully hand-painted ornaments to personalized home decor, each item reflects my commitment to quality and creativity. And I'm not stopping there—I'm always looking for new ways to innovate and expand.

In the near future, I'll be introducing custom laser projects to add even more variety to my products. Whether it's a personalized cutting board or a custom-engraved piece of decor, my upcoming offerings promise to be as unique and meaningful as the rest of my collection.
